Frequently asked questions on accreditation.
Is Multicert an accredited certification body?
Yes. Multicert holds Polish Centre for Accreditation accreditation no. AC 210 for the certification of construction products (ISO/IEC 17065). For the remaining areas (ISO management systems, CE and UKCA products) we work with international accredited certification bodies that hold the appropriate scopes.
Will my ISO 9001 certificate be accredited?
Yes. The ISO 9001 certificate is issued by the international accredited certification body we partner with, which holds accreditation for ISO/IEC 17021-1. The certificate is accredited and honored by public authorities, business partners and contracting institutions.
Will the certificate be valid in the EU and beyond?
Yes. The accreditations underpinning the certificates (both PCA AC 210 and the partner bodies’ international accreditations) are recognised internationally. PCA is a signatory to the EA MLA and IAF MLA agreements, which confirm recognition of the accreditation itself; a certificate issued in the Polish national system 2+ applies to the Polish market.
Who will be the auditor during the certification audit?
A Multicert lead auditor holding IRCA / CQI certificates and industry knowledge appropriate to the audit scope. The audit team composition is agreed with the client before the audit.
Who issues the final certificate?
Within Multicert’s own PCA AC 210 accreditation (construction products) the certificate is issued by Multicert. In the remaining areas (ISO systems, CE products) the certificate is issued by the international accredited certification body we partner with. Multicert runs the entire process — from first contact through the audit to certificate issuance and surveillance.
