Client opinion
"We implemented ISO 9001 ourselves. We outsourced the pre-audit to Multicert. We then certified ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 — everything went quickly and smoothly."

Most common questions

Five things people
ask most often.

Price, time, accreditation, differences, consultants — short and concrete. Missing something? Call +48 22 308 67 47.

How much does ISO 9001 certification cost for my company?

The price depends on the number of employees, locations and the industry (audit risk level). For a typical hotel or production plant with 50 employees expect roughly PLN 12,000–18,000 for the certification audit (stage 1+2) plus PLN 4,000–6,000 for the annual surveillance audit. Free, tailored quote within 2 hours during business hours.

How long does the certification process take?

From inquiry to certificate — 4–8 weeks for a typical company of 50 employees. The on-site audit itself is 1–3 days (stage 2), preceded by a stage 1 audit (usually a remote document review). The certificate is valid for 3 years with surveillance audits every 12 months.

Is a Multicert certificate accredited and recognised in the EU?

Yes. Multicert holds Polish Centre for Accreditation (PCA) accreditation no. AC 210 for construction products. For ISO management systems and CE products we work with international accredited certification bodies (ISO/IEC 17021-1) — Multicert performs the audit, the partner issues the certificate. Certificates are honored in the EU, the US, the UK and worldwide.

What is the difference between accredited and non-accredited certification?

Accredited certification is issued by a body formally recognised by a national accreditation authority (PCA in Poland, ČIA in Czechia, IAS in the US). Only such a certificate is honored in public procurement, corporate customer requirements and export contracts. Non-accredited certification has marketing value only — no legal recognition. Multicert issues only accredited certificates.

Do I need an implementation consultant before certification?

That is your decision. Multicert separates implementation from certification (an independence requirement of ISO/IEC 17021-1) — the certification auditor cannot also be a consultant. You can implement the management system on your own (with help from books or training) or use an external consultant. Multicert runs training on the requirements of the standards — a good starting point before you decide.
