ISO 14001 certification for sites in Poland

Performed in partnership with an international accredited certification body
In short

We run accredited ISO 14001 certification for plants, warehouses and offices in Poland, including subsidiaries of foreign groups. The certificate is issued by our partner body LL-C, accredited by ČIA. The audit checks how you identify and meet the Polish environmental legal requirements that apply at your sites. Stage 1 can be remote; the audit language is agreed in the quote. Prices start from EUR 1,150 net (PLN 4,900) for a team of up to five. We certify; we do not implement or consult on the system we audit.

Standard

What you get certified against.

ISO 14001 specifies requirements for an environmental management system. ISO 14001:2026 replaced the 2015 edition and follows the harmonized structure of ISO management system standards. Accredited certification by LL-C currently covers ISO 14001:2015; the quote states which edition applies to you.

Sites in Poland

What matters for a Polish site of an international group.

Four points that usually decide the scope, the audit days and the timetable.

  • 01

One certificate for the Polish entity or the whole group

The scope can cover a single Polish plant or several sites. With several sites performing similar activities under one system, the certification body may audit a sample of sites according to Global ACI-TECH-3-001 (formerly IAF MD 1); the central function is audited every year.

  • 02

Polish environmental law is part of the audit

EA-7/04 M requires the certification body to check how the organisation identifies and evaluates compliance with the environmental legal requirements that apply at each site. For a Polish plant these include Polish permits, waste records and reporting obligations, even when the group system is written in English or German. Deliberate or persistent non-compliance prevents certification.

  • 03

    Transition from ISO 14001:2015

Under Global ACI-TECH-3-TR 2029-04-30, new accredited certifications are issued only to ISO 14001:2026 from 31 October 2027, and ISO 14001:2015 certificates cease to be valid after 30 April 2029 at the latest.

  • 04

Which audit activities can be remote

Document review, interviews and parts of stage 1 can be remote under Global ACI-TECH-3-003. Operations where environmental aspects arise, such as production, storage and waste handling, cannot be a virtual site; the audit plan states how they are assessed.

Global ACI took over the mandatory documents of IAF in 2026; the former IAF MD numbers are given in brackets.

Process

From inquiry to certificate.

Stage 2 can follow stage 1 closely when stage 1 confirms that your environmental management system is ready. The number of audit days is set in the quote.

  1. 01 1–2 days

    Inquiry & quote

You send the scope, headcount, sites and main environmental aspects. We calculate audit days and quote the full three-year cycle.

  2. 02 about 1 week

    Contract & audit plan

Contract signing, audit team assignment and agreement on dates, sites and the audit language.

  3. 03 often remote

    Stage 1 audit

Review of the scope, environmental aspects, compliance obligations and readiness for stage 2.

  4. 04 on-site

    Stage 2 audit

Evaluation of the implementation and effectiveness of the system at the sites in scope.

  5. 05 2–3 weeks

    Certificate

After any nonconformities are closed: certification decision by a person who did not take part in the audit, then issue of the accredited certificate.

Pricing

What it costs.

Audit days are set by Global ACI-TECH-3-004 (formerly IAF MD 5) from the effective number of personnel, the environmental complexity of the activities and the number of sites.

  • Certification audit, stage 1 and stage 2from EUR 1,150 net (PLN 4,900)
  • Surveillance audit, each yearfrom EUR 920 net (PLN 3,900)
  • Recertification after three yearsfrom EUR 1,150 net (PLN 4,900)

Prices apply to an organisation of up to five people in one location and one standard. On-site audits add travel and accommodation at actual cost; remote activities do not. The quote covers the full three-year cycle.

Your quote

What we need for a quote.

  3. 03 Addresses of the sites and what is done at each one

FAQ

Questions from international groups.

Can the audit be carried out in English or German?

Tell us your preferred language in the inquiry. The quote confirms the audit language and an audit team that can work in it.

Who issues the certificate?

The certificate is issued by our partner certification body LL-C (Certification) Czech Republic a.s., accredited by the Czech Accreditation Institute (ČIA) under certificate No. 88/2026. The current accreditation scope covers ISO 14001:2015. Certification to ISO 14001:2026 is available once the accreditation scope covers the new edition; the quote states which edition applies to you.

We have an ISO 14001:2015 certificate. What should we do?

Plan the transition within your current cycle. ISO 14001:2015 certificates cease to be valid after 30 April 2029 at the latest. The date of the transition audit is agreed with the certification body; additional audit time may be needed for the changes.

How is the price calculated?

Audit days are set by Global ACI-TECH-3-004 (formerly IAF MD 5) from the effective number of personnel, the environmental complexity of the activities and the number of sites. For organisations of up to five people in one location, the certification audit starts from EUR 1,150 net (PLN 4,900) and each surveillance audit from EUR 920 net (PLN 3,900).

Do you help implement the system?

No. A certification body may not offer or provide management system consultancy (ISO/IEC 17021-1, clause 5.2). You can implement the system yourself or with an independent consultant; we audit and certify it.

Can ISO 14001 be combined with ISO 9001 or ISO 45001?

Yes. The standards share a common structure, so one audit team can assess them in an integrated audit. Audit time for the combined audit is calculated according to Global ACI-TECH-3-008 (formerly IAF MD 11).
